{ The Problem }

Traditionally, static cling labels (the kind you see hanging on the glass doors of the frozen food aisle at the grocery store, for example) are either silk-screened or printed offset. Both solutions, however, can be costly and time-consuming. For this reason, one of our packaging label clients asked us if we could produce their in-store promotional static cling labels at a more reasonable price with a quicker turn time.

{ The Primeflex Solution }

Of course we said yes! Flexography by nature requires a less costly set-up, and we pride ourselves on our quick turn times at Primeflex. We laid a layer of opaque white and then reverse-printed the art on a clear label. The art shows through while remaining protected by the plastic, and achieves the look of offset and silkscreen at a fraction of the cost.

7 colors (4-color process + opaque white + 2 spot PMS colors) + full UV coating, printed on clear polyester with a removable static cling adhesive.
